Alfreso Dining

Enjoy fresh, bold flavours on our outdoor terrace, a lakeside retreat tucked within the Barbican Estate, right in the centre of London. It’s a rare thing in central London: open skies, cascading greenery, and the calm of the lake, all a few steps from Silk Street, the perfect place to enjoy a bite to eat.

All our menus embrace fresh seasonal British produce. Whether you’re settling in for a long lunch, catching up over sharing plates, or grabbing a bite before a show, our terrace is one of the City of London’s best spots for outdoor terrace dining.

Three people dressed in smart casual attire, including a cream knit jumper and a black shirt sat on outdoors chairs clicking Aperol spritz's together. On the table in front of them is a bowl of nuts, red wine and a glass of champaign.
Cocktails Made for the Terrace
Sip, savour and soak up the atmosphere on the terrace at Barbican Bar & Grill. Overlooking the iconic surroundings of the Barbican Centre, our outdoor space is the perfect spot to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and refreshing spritzes. Whether you’re meeting friends, unwinding after work or raising a glass before a performance, the terrace offers a relaxed setting at the heart of the city.
Three guests sat at an outside table on the terrace. The table is full of plates of food, including smoked salmon a Caesar salad and a side of olives. One of the female guests is casually resting one of her elbow's on the table whilst holding a glass of Champaign in the other hand, clinking it together with the guest sat opposite her.
Wine, Beer & Something Sparkling

Beyond the cocktails, our drinks list covers a lot of ground. Whites run from a crisp Albariño from Rías Baixas to a Languedoc Chardonnay from Gérard Bertrand. For sparkling, the Searcys English Classic Cuvée, made with Surrey vineyards, is the natural terrace choice. We also pour Camden Hells and Pale Ale on draught.
